1994 was a seminal year for the Republican Party. Republicans took the majority in the House of Representatives for the first time in forty years. And Fairbanks Republican Women Federated (“FRWF”) was founded. One of the largest chapters of the 100,000-member-plus National Republican Women Federated, based in Arlington, Virginia (www.nfrw.org), FRWF is committed to educating, inspiring and encouraging women to participate in the political process.
By volunteering time and resources to electing Republican candidates who support its ideals, FRWF members enjoy a unique position of power and influence. Named after the founders’ community of Fairbanks Ranch, FRWF draws members from all parts of San Diego County, from Oceanside to Chula Vista and inland to Fallbrook and Escondido. Through inspired leadership FRWF has evolved into the family-friendly organization it is today, with active men’s and young Republican’s auxiliaries.
But, the women of FRWF do more than just write checks. We roll up our sleeves, fill gift baskets for military families, walk precincts, reg-ister voters, work with schools, and take on community projects that are vital to electing Republicans.
The reward for members’ hard work is access to some of the most prominent Republican officials. Since its founding, FRWF has hosted presidential candidates, sitting senators and congressmen, and just about everybody who is anybody in Republican Party politics statewide. As a member, you’ll have social and business networking opportunities at our luncheons, and Happy Elephant Hour mixers. If you are thinking of running for office, or even for a local board appointment, this is the organization you can count on for support and encouragement.
So we invite you to join us in a profoundly important endeavor: electing Republicans to office who will vote to sustain our core values of peace through strength, prosperity through individual responsibility, and liberty through limited government. It’s the right choice.
